How do I request a user's location or phone number in Telegram?

I want to ask the user to share their GPS location or phone number with one tap. Where is the location request button located in the node settings?

In Telegram, requesting native user data like phone contacts or real-time GPS locations is only supported via Reply Keyboards (Menu), not inline card buttons.

How to request location or contact:

  1. Open your Message Node settings in the right panel.
  2. Look at the bottom of the settings panel. You will see two options:
    • Add Card (used for text, media, and inline buttons)
    • Add Menu (used for bottom Telegram reply keyboard)
  3. Click Add Menu.
  4. Add a button and change its button type to:
    • Request Location (prompts the user to share their device GPS location).
    • Request Contact (prompts the user to share their verified phone number).
  5. When the user taps the button, Telegram sends the verified coordinates or phone number, which TeleGo captures and saves into your user profile and CRM.
